Welcome to Jackson Walnut Park, where children ages 18 months through Grade 6 learn to love themselves, love each other, and love learning. For half a century, we have been educating students in the tradition of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston and the Roman Catholic faith. It has been our privilege and our calling to help children grow in wisdom, age, and grace; to inspire them to become critical thinkers, confident leaders, and compassionate citizens of a world that hungers for the values we impart.
A committed and experienced faculty, a challenging curriculum, caring classmates, and a generous community of benefactors and alumni support the flourishing of the children entrusted to our care. In addition to strong academic skills, students at JWP acquire values and virtues inspired by faith: Respect. Compassion. Kindness. Service to Neighbor. Care for the Earth.
We take seriously the opportunity to partner with parents and families to nurture children spiritually, socially, and emotionally, as well as intellectually. We take seriously the need to encourage independence, competence, leadership and faith in our students, for their own benefit, and for the benefit of the communities, families, and professions they will serve as they grow older.
We invite you to visit our historic campus and experience for yourself the diverse and vibrant community of learners, educators, and families thriving at Jackson Walnut Park.
