A little about me…

Brette, a proud Newton, MA native and Jackson Walnut Park School alumna, earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Lesley University. She embarked on her teaching career in the Newburyport Public School District.

Brette’s teaching philosophy centers around creating a nurturing and safe environment where children can thrive. She believes that learning is a continuous journey, driven by children’s natural curiosity and the essential role of play. Her aim is to offer students a rich childhood experience, full of friendships, adventure, and exploration, so they grow confident, enthusiastic, and passionate about learning.

Outside of the classroom, Brette enjoys running, embarking on adventures with her daughter Aubrey, and spending summer days on Martha’s Vineyard.
