Creating a Community Together

Our Parents

image description

Our families are our most valuable partners. Serving as room parents, admissions ambassadors, event volunteers, and more, they enrich students’ educational experiences and enhance campus life in myriad ways. All parents belong to the Parent School Association and benefit from academic and social programs sponsored by the PSA. In helping create a strong school community here, our parents often forge friendships that last a lifetime. All of our school programs and events rely in part on the service and support of the PSA; in fact, many are entirely PSA organized and run. Whether planning a school social, helping decorate, serving food at an event, or arranging for a function, it takes a lot of effort and dedication to making a school into a community. Our PSA is an integral part of building this community.

The PSA Mission:

To enhance the Jackson Walnut Park

Educational Collaborative by inviting parental involvement to help strengthen the partnership between the parents and schools while supporting the unity and missions of both schools.

  • To support the Schools’ missions, programs, and activities
  • To support and encourage the collaboration of parents, administrators, faculty, and staff in all appropriate areas of school life
  • To aid in organizing friend-raising and community-building activities for the Schools’ families, administrators, faculty, and staff
  • To recognize administrators, faculty, and staff members for their service
  • To provide parent education and enrichment opportunities
