For Girls:

Pants

  • Navy or khaki pants, capris, and knee-length walking shorts
  • Navy or khaki corduroy pants
  • No cargo pants or cargo shorts
  • No leggings
  • Skirts/skorts/jumpers/dresses
  • Navy or khaki skort knee-length (long skort)
  • Navy, khaki, or hunter/classic navy plaid (Lands’ End) jumper or knee-length A-Line skirt
  • Navy mesh polo dress – long or short-sleeve with JS logo
  • Solid Colored Navy leggings are acceptable under skirts/skorts/jumpers/dresses only

Shirts

  • White, navy, light blue, or maize mesh or interlock polo – long or short-sleeve with JS logo
  • Blue or white oxford cloth shirt – long or short-sleeve
  • White, navy, or maize turtleneck or mock turtleneck
  • White or light blue knit peter pan collar blouse

Sweaters

Navy or maize cotton cardigan, v-neck, button front, crew neck zip sweater, or vest with JS logo

For Boys:

Pants

  • Navy or khaki pants and knee-length walking shorts
  • Navy or khaki corduroy pants
  • No cargo pants or cargo shorts

Shirts

  • White, navy, light blue, or maize mesh or interlock polo – long or short-sleeve with JS logo
  • Blue or white oxford cloth shirt – long or short-sleeve with all-cotton option
  • White, navy, or maize turtleneck or mock turtleneck

Sweaters

  • Navy or maize cotton cardigan, v-neck, button front, crew neck zip sweater, or vest with JS logo

Shoes and Belts:

  • Rubber-soled shoes or sneakers in good condition; no sandals or clogs
  • Belts are required on all clothing with belt loops
  • Solid-colored crew, knee or ankle socks required

Gym Uniform Dress Code:

Pants

  • Navy sweatpants or swish pants (no stripes)
  • Navy fleece or nylon soccer-style shorts with the JS logo

Shirts

  • Navy or white t-shirt – long or short-sleeve with JS logo
  • Navy or white polyester performance t-shirt – short-sleeve with JS logo
  • Navy or white all-cotton performance t-shirt – long or short-sleeve with JS logo

Sweatshirts/Jackets

  • Navy sweatshirt with JS logo
  • Navy nylon zip jacket with JS logo
  • Navy fleece jacket or vest with JS logo
  • Navy microfleece half-zip pullover with JS logo

 

Additional guidelines for JS Uniform Dress Code:

  • Walking shorts and gym shorts are permitted in September, October, April, May, and June
  • Shirts must be tucked in
  • No non-uniform sweatshirts
  • No hats or baseball caps are to be worn inside
  • Spirit Day clothing must only be worn on designated Spirt Wear Days
  • All JS logo shirts other than gym shirts must be purchased from Lands’ End – these items are embroidered
  • Pants, walking shorts, skirts, and oxford shirts can be purchased from other sources
